As you can probably guess, the most popular of the beginners abdominal exercises are the crunches. These crunches can be done by anybody in any place around the world. All you need in order to get started on this exercise is a flat space on the floor where you can lay down. You may also want to get an exercise pad or mat, but a thick blanket would probably also do the trick. There are also several other exercises that you can do without any additional equipment. Use Other Exercises For All Your Abdominal MusclesFor instance, if you are looking for a good beginners abdominal exercise, then you can also do pelvic tilts or side bends in order to improve your muscles in those areas. If you have never done any exercise with your ab muscles, however, you should be very careful not to injure yourself. For instance, the pelvic tilts will help you to work out the lower part of your abdomen while side bends should work the sides of your abs. All of these exercises are fit for beginners who are seeking six pack abs, though you should make sure that you are actually performing the exercise correctly.
